Scan the QR to save the position
The QR scan feature is a great way to keep track of the position of your device without forcing a transmission or using the battery of your device.

Scan the QR on the label with your Trusted Data App, and a location will be send to the Trusted data portal using the GPS on your mobile device.
This will also work for users without the app if they are logged into the data portal in their mobile browsers. Users without the app will need to use their phone camera to save the position.
How to see QR scans
Here is how you see the QR scans for your device.
Click on QR scans tile under your device to see a list of when and by which user the QR code on the tracking device was scanned:
Date: The date the device was scanned.
User: The user who scanned the device.

QR scans on position list
The QR scans will appear on the position list.
The QR icon on the left shows you that the position was saved via QR scan.
If you use the filter function, you can select Mobile app scan to only see the positions saved via QR scan.
