    How to find your data

    As soon as your device has transmitted for the first time, you will be able to start seeing data.

    To find the data from your device level, click on the Data tile.

     

    You will find a range of data graphs in the top bar. The types of graphs depend on your device model.

    All data from the sensors of the tracking device is displayed on the screens below.

    How to read data graphs

    Hover a point on the graph with your mouse to see the specific condition at a particular log time. 

    Below, a calendar shows the exact date and time and an animation shows the orientation of the tracking device as well as a map of the location as the specific log time.

    You can click the color series below the horizontal axis to select or de-select data graphs to be visualized.

    Rolling average

    The rolling average creates a visual trend line of an average of a specified number of days in the graph (the light red line).

    This helps you identify trends in your data. To create a rolling average, click the button Chart settings and select a days variable.

    The rolling average is only a visual tool on the graph and will not be affecting the data collection or settings.

    Y-axis thresholds

    The Y-axis thresholds tool enables you to set a visual threshold line on the graph.

    This threshold value will be visible on all graphs assigned to the user.

    Presentation of the graphs

    Internal temperature

    The graph shows the internal temperature of the tracking device as well as the the minimum and maximum internal temperature values since last transmission.

    The vertical axis shows the temperature at the device position and the horizontal axis shows the date.

    Humidity

    The graph shows the RHT data of the tracking device (only visible for RHTP devices and RHT tags):

    • Humidity
    • Humidity minimum and maximum value since last transmission
    • Dew point calculated by the software
    • Temperature

    The vertical axis shows the RHT data values at the device or tag position and the horizontal axis shows the date.

    Air pressure

    The graph shows the air pressure of the tracking device mesured in pascal (Pa).

    The vertical axis shows the air pressure at the device position and the horizontal axis shows the date.

    Accelerometer

    If the shock sensor is enabled in Edit, these five graphs will be displayed:

    • Accelerometer
    • X, Y, Z
    • Accelerometer Histogram Accumulated
    • Distribution
    • Distribution Accumulated

    The graph indicates the total calculation of g-force that the device has been exposed to based on the measurements from the 3-axis accelerometer.

    X, Y, Z

    The X, Y, Z graph tells you in which direction the device has been exposed to shock.

    The graph shows the direction of forces the device has been exposed to as well as the minimum and maximum levels. You can also see peak X, Y and Z levels.

    The vertical axis shows the g-force (g = Gravity) and the horizontal axis the date and time frame.

    Accelerometer Histogram Accumulated

    This is a histogram presenting counts of highest g-force events during a measurement interval in the device, split into intervals of ~1g.

    The device continuously measures g-force on the 3-axis accelerometer and stores the highest total force recorded over an interval of 1s, expressed as a count within the given interval.

    This graph presents those counts accumulated over time for each g-force interval.

    You can click on each interval column to see a drilldown of when that interval was increased between transmissions from the device.

    Distribution

    This is a distribution graph presenting the same data as the histogram above, but ordered across a time dimension.

    The graph indicates the amount of measurements of each g-force interval between each transmission from the unit.

    It implies when a measurement of a given g-force interval occurred.

    It does not indicate exact time for each interval event, rather a summation of the interval counts between device transmissions.

    Distribution accumulated

    This is an accumulated distribution graph presenting the same data as the distribution graph above, but aggregated over periods of 24h and accumulated over the device lifetime.

    It is essentially a summary chart of all the drilldown details from the histogram chart.

    This implies at which date a total number of measurements has been reached inside a given g-force interval.

    Light

    The graph shows the light intensity when the device is exposed to light, including minimum and maximum levels.

    The vertical axis shows the light intensity and the horizontal axis the date and time frame.

    You can click on the data series below the horizontal axis to hide graphs.

    Tag visibility

    This graph is visible when the device has a connected external RHT or RFID tag.

    In this case, four tags are attached to the tracking device (Named A, B, C D). The vertical-axis shows when the tags are visible or invisible.

    The horizontal-axis shows the date and time when tags are visible or invisible.

    Battery

    This graph shows the battery consumption of your device in percent. The red line is the expected battery consumption based on current settings.

    The vertical axis shows the percentage of battery power and the horizontal axis the date and time frame.

    Connection

    This graph shows the GSM signal strength (dark green), the LTE signal strength (light green) and the GPS satellite signal sum (red).

    The vertical axis on the left shows the RSSI (received signal strength indicator) and on the right the satellite signal sum.

    The horizontal-axis shows the date and time frame.

    Group data

    if you click the large Data tile in a group, you will see a group data chart.

    Here, you can compare temperature, humidity, and air pressure data from up to 10 RHTP devices.

    In this example, there is data from three devices.

    The group data is available if you have at least one active RHTP device in the group.
