Frequently asked questions

What are the key differences between the Standard, BLE, and RHTP editions?

Standard Edition includes a radio beacon for proximity detection and supports external RFID and RHT tags, which extend the device’s monitoring capabilities.

BLE Edition adds Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for local wireless communication, enabling nearby interaction between your phone and the Trusted Mobile App outside network coverage.

RHTP Edition includes sensors for monitoring Relative Hudimity, Temperature, and Air Pressure, making it ideal for tracking condition-sensitive assets during storage or transport.

Where can I access and analyze data insights?

All data collected by the devices is accessible through the Trusted Data Portal. The portal allows you to track and monitor asset data such as position, utilization, running hours, and more – visualized on maps, in graphs, and through detailed reports.

Can I integrate data into my own systems?

Yes, we offer integration through Trusted API and AEMP, enabling seamless data integration to your internal platforms or third-party solutions.

How does the tracking device transmit data?

Our devices use low-power LTE Cat-M1 technology with 2G fallback to ensure reliable global connectivity. Data can be sent at user-defined intervals or triggered by specific events (configuration on the platform).

What if the tracking device is out of coverage?

If the device is outside network coverage, it will log data internally and automatically transmit it once connectivity is restored, ensuring no data is lost.

How do I choose the right tracking device for my industry and business needs?

Standard Edition is ideal for construction, including hydraulic attachments, theft and recovery protection, fleet management, transportation of high-stake breakbulk, and general logistics. It supports proximity detection and external RFID/RHT tags for enhanced asset tracking.

BLE Edition is well-suited for environments with limited connectivity, such as remote construction sites, indoor facilities, and mining operations. It allows local data collection via the Trusted Mobile App, making it ideal for areas with intermittent network access.

RHTP Edition is designed for use in offshore wind turbine installations, during transportation of sensitive freight, or in environments where humidity, temperature, and air pressure need to be closely monitored to protect equipment, cargo, and stored goods.

How do I install the tracker?

Trusted hardware is designed for easy installation using either screws or magnets, depending on your use case.

  • Screws are ideal for permanent installation.
  • A magnet kit is recommended if you need the flexibility to move the device between different assets.

Both installation kits are available from Trusted (sold separately).
